Prophecy旗下的暗色团个个都是骨骼清秀之辈,今年早先时候老团Dornenreich的新作以优雅的提琴风暴席卷了乐迷的耳朵之后，今次力捧的意 大利团Klimt 1918能玩出什么东西，尤其是官方文案中‘Influenced by The Beatles, Cure, Interpol, Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, U2, The Police, Katatonia, Anathema, Antimatter’这样的话更是让人心生好奇。 。
　　
　　 出于对 the Cure, Bauhaus 和Joy Division的喜爱,早期参与死亡金属乐队的成员Marco Soellner和Paolo Soellner两兄弟于1999年创建了这个神奇的混种音乐计划，初期主要玩的还是纯种的歌特金属（甚至还能在MA上查到这个乐队的资料 http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=10990 ）后期走向偏飘逸空灵， 邀请了 Novembre的鼓手一同录制了Demo：Secession Makes Post-Modern Music，这张小样受到广泛好评并且被当地一家独立厂牌看中，2003年，在乐队更换了吉他手之后，标志着乐队风格彻底转变的专辑Undressed Momento问世，这张作品基本脱离了金属音乐风格的束缚，清嗓泛澜，通篇充斥着shoegaze音色的吉他和后摇的碎拨，同时黑暗的氛围又和 Darkwave有扯不清的关系。
　　
　　 “以先锋金属为根基的另类摇滚乐队”评论界开始用这个奇怪的名词形容他们，可能在他们自己都没搞清楚怎么回事的时候，Prophecy的一纸合约就放到了 面前。Dopoguerra是Klimt 1918在大厂牌下发行的第一张制作精良的正式专辑，不出意料的受到一片赞誉，也不出意料的引起了更多乐迷的争论，“Gothic, post-rock, emo, new wave with the general metallic sound. I bet that defenition didn't help at all.”这句话可能道出了所有分类学家们抓狂的心理。
　　
　　 2008年6月，混种怪物Klimt 1918的新专辑Just In Case Well Never Meet Again发行在即，从试听的曲目来看，通透的吉他旋律让人想起shoegaze新秀Kyte，而后朋的鼓节奏占到了前所未有的重要地位。现在，我们有理 由期待这个“后摇版的Joy Division＋The Cure混合物”能为Prophecy再添无上荣耀.
